Planning Board adopts housing reexamination; approves two projects

NJ WARREN — Warren Planning Board unanimously adopted a Master Plan reexamination addressing affordable housing compliance. Professional Planner Katie Sarmad presented the report, which reflects completion of a state dispute-resolution process; a judge found the plan compliant February 3, 2026. The board set an ordinance-adoption deadline of March 15, 2026, and identified three alternate development sites.

The board also unanimously approved an amended site plan for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York property and approved a preliminary major subdivision from Flamingo Builders LLC at 69, 71, and 73 Old Stirling Road, with Chairman John Lindner and Deputy Mayor Vanessa Kian voting against the subdivision.
