Warren approves $13.9 million in bills and bond counsel contract

NJ WARREN — Warren Township Committee approves $13.9 million in operational bills and professional contracts. The Committee unanimously approved $13,927,013.58 in bills and awarded a $25,000 bond counsel contract to McManimon, Scotland & Baumann for 2026, following discussion of prior involvement concerns. Three ordinances advanced to first reading for February public hearings covering a sewer easement with MDR Equities LLC, Board of Health appointments, and Township Administrator procedures.

Consent agenda approvals included a $556,250 restoration contract to Paragon Restoration Corporation for Mount Bethel Meeting House with an increased New Jersey Historic Trust grant raising total funding to $763,343, and a $47,512 Preserve New Jersey grant for Kirch-Ford-Terrill House preservation planning. The Committee discussed a pending Hofheimer House referendum for the November general election.
