Warren approves $573,580 Green Acres grant for trail improvements

NJ WARREN — Warren advances $573,580 state grant for nature trail improvements. The Township Committee unanimously approved a Green Acres grant application funding improvements to Dealaman Trails and Pond including trail rehabilitation, pond dredging, aerator pumps with solar panels, and a pedestrian bridge, with a total project cost of $1,147,160. The committee introduced eight ordinances establishing or modifying affordable housing zoning districts and increased Mount Bethel Meeting House improvement appropriations from $524,155 to $763,343, with public hearings set for March 12.

The committee authorized temporary office space leasing for six to twelve months budgeting up to $166,050 for the first six months following water damage to Warren Town Hall from a burst pipe on February 8.
