Township Committee · Meeting of June 18, 2026
NJ WARREN — Warren Township Committee bans data centers across all zones in new ordinance. The measure, approved unanimously, designates data centers as prohibited uses throughout the township and establishes supplementary performance standards. Two residents from neighboring jurisdictions spoke in support during the public hearing.
The committee also backed $1.25 million in bonded spending: $370,000 for Department of Public Works equipment and $880,000 for a sewer utility generator. Separately, Riverview Paving was awarded the Mountainview Road Phase II contract at $509,422.55 from an eleven-bid competition. Since 2022, the township has allocated nearly $5 million for road overlay work, paving 23 miles with 5 additional miles scheduled for this year.
