Warren Environmental Commission adopts resource inventory

NJ WARREN — The Warren Environmental Commission unanimously adopted its Environmental Resource Inventory, setting the stage for Planning Board review. Chair Wayne DeFeo reported that trees destroyed in the township's center medians during winter will be replaced with two native tree varieties by May 11. Commission member Rakesh Ganta will coordinate with Planning Board President John Lindner to schedule the ERI presentation, which will be delivered by Barbara Davis of the Land Conservancy.
The commission also received an update on Federal Reserve building site tree clearing, confirming the cleared trees were part of the original site plans with an extensive replacement program to follow.
