Warren Environmental Commission welcomes new members, reviews development plans

NJ WARREN — Warren Environmental Commission welcomes three new members, flags development concerns. The commission inducted Joe Filo and Ron Weslosky as regular members, plus junior member Rishi, amid a strategic shift toward closer Planning Board coordination. The EC reviewed an amended site plan for Parkside Villas at Block 90 Lot 2, expressing concern over continued excessive impervious surface coverage and urging the developer to summarize and redline any changes.
The commission had no concerns with an amended plan for Federal Reserve Bank of New York at Block 8 Lots 2 and 3. Commissioner Rakesh Ganta presented findings on a proposed stormwater utility; more research is needed before potential implementation.
