Warren Historic Sites Committee elects Fitzgerald chair, advances preservation projects

NJ WARREN — Warren's Historic Sites Committee secures $1.3 million in grants while electing 2026 leadership. The committee reelected Greg Fitzgerald as Chairman and Erica Sbarra as Treasurer, promoting Rory Britt to Vice Chairman and recognizing Kari Quiros after 10 years as Recording Secretary. The committee's cumulative preservation grant total since 2017 reached $1.3 million, with $110,862 in 2025 grants for Kirch Ford Terrill House planning and $763,343 for Mt.
Bethel Baptist Meeting House COVID-era restoration work. For ongoing MBMH restoration, the committee approved Paragon's $556,250 bid for September 2026 completion. Damage to the Kirch Ford Terrill House from a fallen ash tree is being repaired under structural assessment.
