NJ WARREN — Warren open space committee appoints new secretary, sets trail priorities. The Open Space Advisory Committee unanimously approved its March 2026 minutes and appointed Shilpa Desai as committee secretary following Kevin Anderson's resignation. Director of Sports and Recreation Joe Passaro briefed the committee on trail maintenance challenges, noting the Department of Public Works trail team has only three staff members.
The committee prioritized stewardship work on Coddington and Glenhurst trails. Passaro also suggested the township consider a Parks Department to address recreation facility demands, including a turf field for adult softball and cricket.
