Planning Board · Meeting of February 25, 2026
NJ WARREN — Warren Planning Board approves amended Housing Element and Fair Share Plan. The Board adopted the plan to meet the township's Mount Laurel fourth-round affordable housing constitutional obligations and protect the town from builder's remedy litigation. Professional planner Katie Sarmad explained the plan designates three new properties for potential affordable housing: 155 Washington Valley Road, 149 Washington Valley Road, and 41 Mountain Boulevard, totaling approximately 262 affordable credits (roughly 150 actual new units among approximately 500 total units), with a 25-30 percent affordable-to-market-rate ratio on most sites.
Professional engineer Christian Kastrud confirmed the sites pose no wastewater-capacity constraints.
